Positive Steps funded an agricultural project in Kenya for many years and this is now self-sustaining. However, we do still keep close contact with the people there and hear how they are progressing. Additional funding has been given in recent years when the project themselves purchased a new tractor but could not afford the hopper which would have made the harvesting and storage of crops easier. It would have taken them another few years to be able to afford it, but this ad-hoc funding allowed them to buy the hopper immediately and enjoy the full benefit of the new tractor.
