A test of change delivering co-ordinated multiagency responses to non-fatal overdoses begins. This involves gathering of agencies including Police, NHS Tayside, Criminal Justice and Positive Steps on a daily basis to share information about individuals who have experienced an overdose in the previous 72 hours and devise an action plan that enables the appropriate services to provide real time interventions.
This is the first response of its type in Scotland.
Positive Steps provide timely outreach responses to those not in contact with services and individuals struggling to engage. Find our stats here LINK.
We are awarded a three year grant from the Robertson Trust to part fund our outreach nurse.
